Evgeny Kiselev

Evgeny Kiselev is from Saint Petersburg, Russia. He is a Designer, Digital Artist, and Digital illustration artist. Most of his artwork is illustration, he use a few shape such a circle, square, triangle and the lines. All of his artwork is little bit modern, because he has strong style and bright color. As I see his gallery, he make some artwork for advertising, and some for his favor to do. He has 2 types of concept for his artwork, first is modern style, second is contemporary style. For the modern style he has a strong line and shape, like he really showed the straight line and the shape that he use very often. For the modern color he use bright color, such as red, orange, green, blue, and many color that represent bright and modern color. The emotion that he represented the modern style it's like stylish and cozy.

Shirley Cross

She is an artist from Salem, Oregon, United states. She is a digital multimedia artist, most of her artwork use media type photography and digital painting. As I see all of her artwork, she has 4 themes of artwork, she has Abstract, Black and White , Digital Creations – Color (digital imaging art), and Floral. For each type she always has similar style, like color, shape, and concept. The concept the she use for her artwork is romantic and nature, because she use flower and women in her artwork. For the emotion, all I see in her gallery, the emotion that I get from her gallery is calm, romance, beauty, and nature, because she use a color that represent all emotion that I mentioned before, like blue, purple, white, green, and yellow.

I choose one of her artwork, the title of this artwork “Pastel Pinwheel Abstract”. The concept of this artowrk seems like flower but actually it is not real flower, because the line and the shape that she arrange the artowork and the artwork seems to be like flower. For the emotion, in this artwork expressed the calm emotion, for the line and the shape, she don't use a strong line and she decrase the color opacity of the shape. She use calm color to supporting the artwork, mostly she use a blue, orange, and litt;e bit purple and yellow color, but she also decrease the opacity of the color.

Artwork Title: “Dictator”

Artist statement

My artwork is based on my artist's arwork, his name Evgeny Kiselev, he's an illustration digital media artis from Russia. Most of his artwork is full of shape and straight line, and I choose one of type of his artwork that is a modern artwork. My artwork title is “Dictator” because in Evgeny's artwork that I choose, it is like so many sharp shape and bright color such as red and blue. I arrange the shape looks like a castle, and the straight line I arrange them looks like a light that always shoot around the castle.

Artwork treatment

My artwork is done digitally, I used adobe photoshop to make them. First I arrange some shape to be a castle, and some line for the top of the castle, and some shape like star and circle, this is like day and night, and some line I used for the lights. I choose red and blue, because they represent about the good and the bad, that one country has led by a dictator.

Artwork Title: “Beauty”

Artist statement

My artwork is based on Shirley Cross's artwork, she is a digital media artist from USA. Most of her artwork is full of shape of the flowers, and some of her artwork about women. I choose one of her artwork that is an abstract flower, in my artwork I add one object that is butterfly, because butterfly also showed the beauty. As you can see at my artwork, I choose a soft color, to represent again Shirley's artwork, in Shirley's artwork, she's showed a calm emotion, so I choose white, soft orange, and soft blue color.

Artwork treatment

My second artwork also done digitally, for the second artwork I used adobe illustrator, to easily make the butterfly and the flower using pen tool. I copied the flowers into several flowers, and I arrange them to be a big or little, and I decrease the opacity all of the flowers.

Artwork Title: The wise teapot

Artist Statement

My artwork based on the teapot, why I choose the teapot, because teapot have many meanings. Teapot have meanings like the teacher, we can fill the teapot with the water, after that the teapot shared with the cup. People who have character like teapot, they are really a good person, If they got some knowledge, they will shared the knowledge with another people.

Artwork Treatment

My artwork is done digitally, same like my previous artwork, I arrange the teapot and the cup and I take the photo. I edited the color and the brightness in adobe photoshop, and I make the typography in adobe illustrator. I choose the 'andale mono' font, because the font is like show the wise typhography.
